On the opening day of the largest tourist exhibition in Ukraine UITT 2011 the Board of Tourism and Resorts of Ukraine issued a list of 100 top hotels in the country.

"The list of winners is made by a special algorithm that presumes presentation of absolutely all regions of Ukraine. Hotel evaluation was conducted by many criteria - quality of rooms, food services, conference services, staff, location. We have taken into account the opinion of the leading tour operators on the correlation of price and quality, customer feedback at the booking sites", says Eugene Samartsev, Chairman of the Board.

The list of winners includes six hotels of Reikartz Hotels & Resorts in Lviv, Kirovograd, Mykolaiv, Pochayiv, Kriviy Rih and Polyana. The hotels won in all the regions of the chain's current presence.

National Ukrainian hotel chain Reikartz Hotels & Resorts welcomed guests on the international tourism exhibition MITT 2011 that took place in Moscow on 16-19 of March.

Year after year exhibition complex Expocenter becomes the meeting place for tourism professionals both from Russia, Ukraine, CIS and the world's largest resorts. This year exhibition MITT was visited by more than 50,000 people – among them not only the representatives of tourism companies, but also people, who lead an active lifestyle, keep up with the news of the world tourism and attractive destinations of the season.

Reikartz team welcomed guests on their own spacious stand in the center of Pavilion 1 and treated them with Ukrainian traditional snacks, beer and gorilka. Reikartz representatives described the benefits of leisure in Ukraine: its beautiful landscapes and unique cultural features of Zakarpattia, ancient and romantic Lviv, strict beauty of Holy Dormition Pochayiv Lavra, gentle Black Sea and so much more.

The guests highly appreciated the hospitality of the stand №320 and were pleasantly surprised with the fact that now Ukraine has a chain of European hotels with the highest level of service. Ukrainian hotel chain Reikartz Hotels & Resorts announces a new appointment – from 01st of March a new position of Chief Operating Officer was introduced and is now taken by Sebastian Kraemer.

Mr. Kraemer graduated from Hotel & Tourism Management Academy in Germany with a degree of Hotel Marketing, F&B Management and since 1997 has held senior management positions in major European hotel chains: Dorint-Sofitel, Starwood Hotels, Kempinski Hotel Group. From 2005 to 2009 Sebastian Kraemer worked in St. Petersburg at the position of Resident Manager & Deputy General Director at Rocco Forte Hotel Astoria (Member of the Leading Hotels of the World) & Angleterre Hotel.

Last two years, Mr. Kraemer worked as an Executive Director of five-star hotel The Three Sisters Hotel, Tallinn (Member of Relais & Chateaux) and made a significant contribution to the achievement of high financial performance and exceptional service of the hotel.

Mr. Kraemer’s rich experience in managing European hotels will bring many benefits to the development of Reikartz Hotels & Resorts. Area of direct responsibility of Mr. Kraemer will include operational management of the chain units in the Eastern, Central and Western Ukraine, including the pre-opening stage of new hotels, as well as marketing and sales.

XVII International Tourist Exhibition UІTT 2011 2011 "Ukraine – Travel and Tourism" will be held on 23-25 of March at the international Exhibition center in Kiev. Welcome to stand № M4 (Hall 3)!

18-th Moscow International exhibition MITT 2011 2011 "Travel and Tourism" will be held on 16-19 of March at the Expocenter on Krasnaya Presnya in Moscow. Welcome to stand № 1-320 (Hall 1)!

Reikartz Hotel Management has started the preparations for opening of the hotel in Mariupol, Donetsk region.

The hotel will be situated in the very center of the city, on Georgivska str. – close to the central railroad station. In 2011 the building will be facing a reconstruction according to European standards. The opening of the new hotel of 3 star level is planned for March, 2012.

Reikartz Mariupol will offer its guests 60 rooms, equipped and furnished as all the other hotels of the chain. The hotel will also have a modern restaurant and conference hall for 100 delegates.

Mariupol is an industrial city with population of approximately 500 000 citizens. The city houses several large industrial enterprises - Azovstal, Azovmash among them. In summer season the city also invites tourists as a resort by the Azov Sea.

According to the previously announced plans, in 2011 Reikartz Hotel Management also plans to open hotels in Dnipropetrovsk and Harkiv. By the end of the year 12 hotels will be managed by the company with the overall rooms number more than 800.
