The brightest musical event will take place this summer in Lviv - with support of Reikartz Hotels and Resorts!

The summer jazz school for the young musicians will be opened for the first time ever in Ukraine, following the famous «Flugery Lvova z Reikartz» and brightest festival of modern arts Fort.Missia!

From July, 15th till July, 18th young musicians from all over Ukraine will get a chance to play together with such masters of jazz, as:
• Michael Bowie (USA), the contrabass player;
• Frank Parker (USA), the drummer;
• Janusz Szrom (Poland), the jazz vocalist;
• Bogdan Holownia (Poland), the outstanding Polish pianist and composer.

Besides lectures and master classes, school will provide the Ukrainian musicians with a unique opportunity of fluent communication and playing on the same scene with famous jazzmen of the world level. Trainings of such format previously were accessible only abroad, and now «live lessons» with famous masters can be received in the most Jazz city of Ukraine, Lviv. More than 50 jazz musicians from Lviv, Kiev, Odessa, Rovno, Lugansk and Mukachevo will take part in this project - both beginners and skilled jazzmen!

The summer jazz school promises to organize the unusual party for citizents and visitors of Lviv - concerts and jam-sessions will take place in JazzClub.Lviv every day with the teachers' and pupils' participation. The first concert of jazz masters will be held in club Picasso, on July, 17th.

The project is organised by JazzClub.Lviv, art association "Dzyga", Hodzezhsky Jazz School Cho-Jazz, Culture and Arts Department of Lviv National University named after I.Franko, with the support of Embassy of the USA and the Ukranian chain of hotels Reikartz Hotels and Resorts, which is traditionally taking part in the most interesting and perspective cultural start-ups in Ukraine.
