On December 11, the annual music festival Jazz Bez has come to the end. The event united 13 cities of Poland and Ukraine, 150 musicians from the USA, Austria, France, Greece, Israel, Lithuania and Russia.

The title “Jazz without borders” uncovers the concept of the festival. What does it mean? “Jazz is all about improvisation. Also this music style has its own rules and characteristics, there are countless ways for creativity”, as jazzmen say.

This year a considerable number of new bands visited the festival. The performance of the American jazz-stars “TarBaby” became one of the brightest moments of the event. The Ukrainian musicians also presented the new emotionally colored music. For example, the new project of the pianist Anastasia Litvinyuk «Litvinyuk Acoustik Jazz» and the band of a young talented saxophonist Michael Balog – «Michael Balog Sextet».

“That was a vivid example showing that our work gives the Ukrainian musicians possibilities to develop”, the fest organizer and brand-manager of Art association “Dzyga” Julia Homchyn said. “Everything went perfect. Noteworthy to mention the high level of the audience which became more particular and demanding. It is pleasure for us to make the festival for the people who enjoy jazz as much as we do”.

The festival was organized with the traditional support of the National hotel chain «Reikartz Hotels & Resorts». All the guests of Reikartz in Lviv had a nice opportunity to get the free festival tickets.
