April 21-22, 2012 – «Housekeeping and Engineering» module was held in «Reikartz Dnipropetrovsk». It is the second educational module of «General Manager» training course.

The training was run by the team of three high-qualified lectors: Evelyn Karinopoulou, the international expert in Housekeeping; Irina Barabanova, Chief Customer Officer in Reikartz Hotel Management, and Miron Terletsky, Deputy General Director for Construction and Exploitation in Reikartz Hotel Management. 37 hoteliers attended the training in Dnipropetrovsk, among whom the winners of Reikartz Grant – Victoriya Harchenko (Senator Apartments Hotel), Alena Kalinovskaya (Arcadia Plaza Hotel), Jana Kyrinnaya (Goloseevo Park-Hotel) and Ekaterina Shashkova (Palazzo Hotel).

«The second module was very interesting and informative», – said Jana Kyrinnaya, General Manager of Goloseevo Park-Hotel. – «Most of us could get an insight into hotel engineering as the real specialists see it and gain rather useful knowledge. Now I am sure, our collaboration with Engineering Services will be successful and we will be able to solve any problems without delay».

Within two days the trainers and the participants analyzed all points of daily Housekeeping operation: cost saving methods and tools, application of department schedule, usage of special equipment. Housekeeping Workshop was organized on the base of Reikartz Dnipropetrovsk Hotel. As a part of engineering training Miron Terletsky, who is responsible for the construction and exploitation of all hotels of Reikartz Hotel Group, conducted an excursion over the hotel’s technical facilities.

«Housekeeping Workshop was one of the most remarkable moments», – said the participants. – «It’s rather exciting to look how general managers of Ukrainian hotels clean rooms. Theoretically, everybody knows how housemaids usually do it. But this workshop is a very good reminder for the General Managers – those who demand high level of service from the personnel should know this business inside out. It is impossible to instruct the staff thoroughly if you have never done it yourself».

Next module will be devoted to «Management and Leadership» and held in «Reikartz Dnipropetrovsk» on the 26-27th of May.

April 13, 2012, Kyiv – Reikartz Hotel Management signed the management agreement with the second resort under Vita Park brand.

Vita Park Izki eco resort is situated in Mizhgirya district of Zakarpatska region, not far from Sinevir National natural area.The resort offers its guests 25 rooms of different categories and 8 cottages, decorated with the natural materials. The resort is capable to accommodate up to 170 guests simultaneously.

On the resort territory there are ski-runs, rope tows and chair lifts, ski school, horse-riding school, sauna and the colorful restaurant of the national cuisine. The menu contains healthy dishes prepared from the natural own-produced products. Wellness-resorts offer its guests complex healthy and cosmetic programs, including balneology, yoga, apitherapy (treatment with honey and bee products) and various kinds of massage. There is also a mineral spring on the territory of the resort.

One week earlier the largest Ukrainian hotel operator – Reikartz Hotel Management – announced the launching of the new chain of wellness-resorts Vita Park. Vita Park Akvadar in Cherkasy region became the first resort of the new brand.

At this moment Reikartz Hotel Management manages 17 hotels in Ukraine. Four more hotels will be opened during 2012: Vita Park Akvadar and Reikartz Mariupol in May 2012, Raziotel Kyiv – June 2012 and Reikartz Zhytomyr – October 2012.

By the end of 2012 Reikartz Hotel Management intends to manage at least 20 hotels in Ukraine under Reikartz Hotels & Resorts, Raziotel and Vita Park brands.

Three new hotels are coming during 2012: Vita Park Akvadar and Reikartz Mariupol in May 2012, Raziotel Kyiv – June 2012 and Reikartz Zhytomyr – October 2012.

Due to the rapid expansion it was decided to launch several new brands. Since that moment three hotel chains operated by Reikartz Hotel Management are consolidated by the umbrella brand – Reikartz Hotel Group.

April 9, 2012, Kyiv – Reikartz Hotel Management signed the management agreement with the first resort in Ukraine under the new Vita Park brand.

On the 1st of May, 2012 Akvadar complex (Cherkasy region, Mankivka village) will be relaunched under the new name Vita Park Akvadar and will become the first object of the new chain wellness-resorts in Ukraine – Vita Park.

Vita Park Akvadar is situated in 180 km away from Kyiv in the ecologically clean place in Cherkasy forest area. The new wellness-center will offer their guests the wide range of health-improving services applying only natural recourses: balneology, speleotherapy, phytotherapy and various kinds of massage. On the territory of Akvadar there are also Koliba restaurant with the traditional Ukrainian food, beach zone, mini-zoo and conference hall for the corporate events.

According to the development strategy there will be planned the stepwise refurnishing, implementation of the service standards of Reikartz Hotel Group, enlarging of wellness-center services and working out of animation program. Since June 2012 all the rooms will get the free Wi-Fi access.

Reikartz Hotel Management sets that Vita Park chain will unite the resorts and wellness-centers in the most beautiful and ecologically clean areas of Ukraine. The hotels will offer the various activities for the whole family and different health-improving services with organic materials. There will be implemented the service standards of Reikartz Hotel Group, specially adjusted for the “2-star Superior – 3-star” segment according to HOTREC classification.

X International Ethno-Jazz Festival «Flugery Lviva 2012» will celebrate its anniversary in the courtyard of the Lviv City Hall since April 29 till May 1.

Within ten years the international jazz festival has become the “visiting card” of Lviv, the traditional present for the Day of the City. «Flugery Lviva» has united more than 150 musical bands, 500 painters and artists from different countries of Europe and CIS: every year the reputable jazzmen and the young talented musicians appear on the same scene. The festival lasts for three days, as usual.

The anniversary event program will be started by Free Breath funk-jazz band, the Kyiv band AtmAsfera will present the new album and the Polish-Serbian band Tsigunz Fanfara Avantura will create the lively mood of the gypsy-balkan celebration. Ethno-Ukrainian project DakhaBrakha will close the first festival day.

The second festival day will present the bands from Poland, Moldavia, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan: Angela Gaber Trio, DagaDana, Pushkin Klezmer Band and Tolhaje with their new album.

The last jazz-day will be opened by the new young band Hych Orchestra. “Hych delicately plays the extraordinary music”, say the musicians about their project. New songs of the popular group Shocolad will close the festival.

For the third time «Flugery Lviva» will be held with the support of Reikartz Hotels & Resorts. The team of Reikartz Dworzec Lviv will be glad to host the famous guests.

March 29-30, Kyiv – during the UITT international exhibition and Hotel&Restaurant Expo there was held the First open module of the qualification course "General Manager", organized by Reikartz Hospitality School.

Non-commercial event gathered more than 150 delegates from different regions of Ukraine. The audience enjoyed the presentations of Russian and Ukrainian speakers as well as the European colleagues – the partners of Reikartz School: Markus Luthe, Chief Executive of German Hotel Association; Rudolf Klapp, Department Head of Institute for Hospitality Management in Frankfurt; Toursten Neumaier, the hotel General Manager with 15-year experience.

“The well-planned event program and competent speakers guaranteed the success of the First open module. I am sure, it is exactly the quality level of staff training which Ukrainian hospitality industry needs”, – comments Eugeny Samarcev, Chairman of the Council for Tourism and Resorts of Ukraine.

The next module – Housekeeping and Engineering – will take place in April 21-22, in Reikartz Dnipropetrovsk hotel.

Kyiv, April 2, 2012 – Reikartz Hotel Management signed management agreement with another hotel in Kyiv.

After joining the chain the 4-star apart-hotel in Kyiv got its new name – Reikartz Attache Kyiv. New hotel is located in the premium class living community in the center of Kyiv, next to the Central Railway Station and Vokzalna Metro Station. Reikartz Attache Kyiv offers its guests 20 European modern rooms that are worth of visit by Reikartz frequent guests.

The launching period will last for the nearest months: implementation of the service standards, including the new hotel to the sales and promo channels, Servio HMS installation and staff training.

Nowadays Reikartz Hotel Management is the leading hotel operator in Ukraine, managing 16 operating hotels. The next three hotels planned to be opened: Reikartz Mariupol – in May 2012, Rziotel Kyiv – in June 2012, Reikartz Zhytomyr – in October 2012. The chain hotel in Odessa will be opened in 2013.

March 28, 2012 within the framework of UITT international exhibition and Hotel & Restaurant Expo "100 Best Ukrainian Hotels" awarding ceremony was held.

More than 50 experts of tourism and hospitality industry made up a list of the best hotels in Ukraine presented in the different regions of the country. The main selection criteria were the material resourses of the hotels and guest estimate. The project also aims to development and promotion of the web-catalogue – “100 Best Ukrainian Hotels” prepared for the foreign tourists before EURO 2012.

This year the list of 100 best hotels includes 10 hotels of Reikartz Hotels & Resorts: Reikartz Polyana, Reikartz Kharkiv, Reikartz River Mykolaiv, Reikartz Pochayiv, Reikartz Kriviy Rih, Reikartz Medievale Lviv, Reikartz Dworzec Lviv, Reikartz Kirovograd, Reikartz Dnipropetrovsk, Reikartz Kamianets-Podilsky.
