Skiing in Zakarpattia

Skiing is a surely one of the main reasons to visit Zakarpattia in winter. Reikartz Carpaty is situated only 100 meters away from the nearest ski elevator. We would also be glad to organize transfer to other skiing locations.

Ski resort Ply

Distance from Reikartz Carpaty: 45 km

Ski resort is situated at the foot of the mountain called Ply right between Uzhgorod and Lviv, near the village called Plavye, 300 meters away from the road Kiev-Chop.

3 ski elevators:
two 4-chair lifts Doppelmayer, length: 1000 m. The base area: 792 meters above the sea level, top area: 1060 m.
one rope tow, length: 350 m.

Ski-runs:
6 main ski-runs, length up to 1200 m,
vertical drop 260 m.

 


Ski resort Pilipets

This ski-resort is situated in the village Pilipets, Mezhgirskyi district, 700-750 meters above the sea level and is famous for its beautiful views. The longest ski-run in Ukraine (4000 meters) is in Pilipets.

7 ski elevators:
four rope tows;
two anchor tows;
one chair lift.

Ski-runs
Different levels of complexity. Length: 400 - 4000 meters.
Many professional skiers practice here off-piste skiing. The slopes are covered with snow from December to April.
